brief

To complete the BMS year and obtain my certificate, every student was required to undertake an in-depth project (Berufsmaturitätsarbeit) on the topic of "Vision". As I had loved comics for as long as I can remember, I decided to create one myself and to dedicate my BMA to the process of making a comic, from brainstorming and research through project planning, creativity techniques, and the sketching process.

Concept

Since the overarching theme was "Vision", a word open to interpretation, I took it as something only you can see. Drawing a comic had always been a dream of mine, so I ran with it: a story built around vision itself. At its center is Slack, a chronic procrastinator, and his own personal vision, his inner "Schweinehund", who he's constantly arguing with.
